Trent England is the winner of the 2022 Bridport Prize for his story ‘This is Going to be Huge.’

In 2009, his story ‘Frog Colony’ was published in Fiction. Since then, over thirty of his stories have appeared in The Masters Review, Conjunctions, X-R-A-Y, and other literary magazines. He has twice been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and was named a Best Microfiction winner in 2020 for his story ‘A Quick Word About my Life,’ which was first published in Okay Donkey.

In 2015, his play A Play About Nothing was produced at two fringe theatre festivals in New England, and 2021 saw the world premiere of his play Solitaire Suite.

He is currently writing a novel called Matilda.
