Proximity

Three acts; five characters: two men, three women

An old flame and stories of alien encounters are not what Greer expected when she left New York for her hometown in rural Indiana to attend her mother Dee's wedding. What should have been a quiet weekend is shattered by a ruined wedding, a high school sweetheart who has become a sheriff's deputy, and by Dee's bizarre claims to have had encounters with aliens. And both Dee and Greer must come to terms with the childhood home from which Greer has been running away her whole life, which may explain the state of both women's particular states of mind.
